Donna returned to school and obtained her B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis on accounting from Chapman College. She also holds a Certificate of Accounting from California State University in San Bernardino.
From there, Donna was hired as an accountant/bookkeeper in the Victorville office of William Gill, CPA. After obtaining her Certificate in Public Accounting (CPA), she joined the practice of Paul Messner, CPA. The practice merged with Paul Messner, CPA and later Cindy Hadley, CPA, forming the firm of Messner, Wells, and Hadley, LLP.
After four years, Donna established her own private practice in Victorville. A further merger with the Barstow firm of Miers and Miers, CPA’s LLP followed for 13 years until the untimely passing of Richard Miers. For the second time, Donna re-established her own private practice.
Donna has more than 20 years of experience as a licensed Certified Public Accountant and maintains affiliations with the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Her community activities include serving as Victorville Rotary Club treasurer for four years, District Rotary Treasurer for three terms, St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Board Treasurer, and Victor Valley College Foundation Treasurer. She has also served as President for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants – Victor Valley Chapter.
